Eddie Lang (singer) : ウィキペディア英語版 | Eddie Lang (singer) Eddie Langlois (Crescent City, January 15, 1936 - Slidell, Louisiana, 1985) was an American singer and guitarist. He recorded first for Ric Ron under the stage name Eddie Lang (causing confusion with the jazz guitarist Eddie Lang who had died in 1933),〔(Ric Ron ) "Neither Ron records sold well and, after a single moonlighting appearance for Flame, where he was billed as Sly Dell, it would be a further seven years before he waxed another solo record - for the Banashak-owned Seven B label. ‘The Love I Have For You’ and the follow up, ‘The Sad One’, an outstanding deep soul cut, proved to be his finest recordings. He later waxed for Superdome, before ill-health forced him to retire from playing. He died at home in Slidell, LA, presumably the source of the Sly Dell pseudonym, in 1985."〕〔Billboard - 6 Jul 1959 - Page 33 "Billboard HOT R'B SIDES FOR WEEK ENDING JULY 12 .. EDDIE LANG "Troubles Troubles" — RON 324 — Exuberant shouting stint by Lang on an effective blues. Good dual market entry."〕 but wrote songs under his own name Langlois. He later recorded as Sly Dell. ==References==
